Our local community is and has remained focused on achieving common outcomes through collaboration and cooperation. We follow a compass of common purpose and integrity to make our region the ideal place for all families to thrive no matter who they are or where they came from.
While we are not without our conflicts and challenges, they don’t define us. District 1 is a place of hope, caring, pride, values, and opportunity.
Why Is Pam Running?
Over the past 20+ years, I’ve had the privilege to work on many of our “big issues.” The outcomes I’ve achieved have been successful because I build consensus and encourage collaboration.
I bring everyone to the table, from the business community and our local elected officials to fellow community leaders, neighborhoods, and grassroots organizations. These outcomes include strengthening our economy, initiating experience-based education, enhancing opportunities for under-served neighbors to break through generational poverty, and redeveloping, preserving, and creating communities that provide hometown roots and safe places to live, work and play.

I am running to be your District 1 commissioner because I see the incredible potential we hold to make this community a model for the future. I’m people-focused, passionate, prepared to lead our District 1 into a better, brighter future. I embrace a collaborative leadership style, knowing that people support what they help to build, and I am laser-focused on engaging and including the community in all the good work that we have ahead of us. We may not always agree but I will ALWAYS listen.
I possess an unrelenting tenacity to make good things happen and get things done, fearlessly and relentlessly representing everyone who calls District One home. My deep range of real-world experience and community impact, combined with my ability to see the big picture while also focusing on the details, makes me a doer who's not afraid to roll up my sleeves. With a track record of building consensus and achieving outcomes, I have spent over 20 years as a community leader, connected to a wide network of fellow leaders who share my passion for progress.
